Do you offer Sewing Classes?
We do offer various types of sewing classes. Classes on the schedule can be found either on our calendar or on our classes page.
We also offer private lessons that are based on what you want to learn and your schedule. They are $65/hour and you only pay for the time you use except in the cases of a Machine Owner's Class which is minimum of 1 hour. To schedule one, give us a call at 812-471-7945.
Website says you have "Only X Left". What does this mean?
When you see this
It means we have that much left in Yards, so for our example, it would mean we have 14 yards left.
The number shown is, for the most part, a yard less than what our system says. We do this in case our system is incorrect for an item's quantity.
The only exception to all of this are items that are sold as "Each". These items' default quantity will be "1" and will have the +/- buttons next to the quantity input box usually.

What Machines do you offer?
We currently only carry the Baby Lock brand of machines. Machines we carry can be found here.

Acceptable Decimals for Orders
Step 1: Adding to Cart
We use 3 decimal places and cut in YARDS. Minimum cuts are 1/4 yard and go up from there. Press the Add to Cart button after putting in desired qty.
Your qty is now added to the cart
Step 2: Shipping Information
From the previous step click on "Go to Checkout". This will take you to the page for putting in your shipping information

Step 3: Shipping Methods
After you have put in all your shipping information, you will get to Shipping Methods at the bottom that will look similar to this:
Please note we used our address for our example, so you may not see the pickup in store option. Pickup in store is available for a 120 mile radius from the store
Step 4: Payment Methods
After clicking next from the previous step you are taken to Review & Payments. There is currently only the 1 payment option here but if you select it, it will drop down the PayPal and Card Options as seen here:
Please note that we do not handle any card information and it is all powered through PayPal for your security
Step 4a: PayPal Payments
If you click the PayPal Button you will get a popup that looks like this:
Fill in the information and it will ask you for the way you wish to pay, either by PayPal Balance, or whatever bank you have associated with your PayPal Account. Click Continue and it will double check your shipping address and Payment method. Click on "Pay Now" and it will return you to our website and the "Review Order" Screen that will look similar to this:
Step 4b: Card Payment Option
If you click on any of the Card Options, it will drop down the Card Information boxes similar to this:
Clicking on Continue will put you at the "Review Order" Screen that will look similar to this:
Step 5: Final Review & Place Order
After making your final review of your order, press the "Place Order" Button near the middle of the "Review Order" Screen.
How do you ship?
All of our orders, with the exception of machine orders, are shipped via USPS. Machines are shipping via UPS and are fully insured.
How are your shipping costs calculated?
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of the order.
2 yards or less of 45 inch cotton poplin can go in a first class envelope
2 yards up to 10 yards of 45 inch cotton poplin goes into a flat rate envelope
10 yards to approximately 30 yards of 45 inch cotton poplin goes into a Medium Flat rate box or a regional rate box.
30 yards and over will go into a large flat rate box
Orders placed in the United States (including Hawaii, Alaska, Peru and other US Zip Codes), and exceeding $200 get free shipping which will be an option at checkout.
Orders placed within a 120 mile radius from our store have the option to pickup in store.
How long before I have my order?
Orders are picked, cut and packed on the business day we receive them. If we receive an order after 4:30PM US Central Tu-Sat, it might not be fulfilled until the next business day.
Once shipped, depending on the shipping chosen, you will receive your order within 2-5 business days assuming no delays. International orders can expect to receive their order within 7-12 business days, but we cannot guarantee this.
Example 1: You place your order sometime between Saturday at 6PM US Central and Tuesday at 9AM US Central. We cut and pack the order on Tuesday and get it in the mail later that day. Assuming no delays, you should have order no later than Friday in the US.
Example 2: You place your order on a Thursday around 3PM US Central. We cut and pack the order that day. Our post offices close around 4PM, so we might get the order to the post office that day and you can expect your order by Tuesday at the latest assuming no delays.
Where do you ship to?
We ship to anywhere with a US Zip Code. Internationally we currently ship to: Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand and Most of Europe.
